Gecko…

A little gecko
visited me,
making my day,
standing really still,
he hoped I’d go away…
Trying to go unnoticed
he was taking
quite a risk,
I thought I saw
a movement
I even caught him wink…
He brought me
a message,
from the other side,
I asked him to stay for tea,
but sadly
he declined…
