A Sprinkling of joy

“If you cannot get rid of the family skeleton, you may as well make it dance.”
― George Bernard ShawImmaturity

sprinklings of joy

On long beaches,
remembrance holds dear.
Childhood reflections pool,
and draw us into family reunion,
gatherings,
a sense of belonging
to the sacred moments of identity.

The gloominess of cloudy days
dissipates
and the spillage of glistening sunshine
pours over our wounds.

Secret vows become real,
the bone marrow of suffering exposed,
and skies rejoice,
paying homage to our soul journeys
as we move across
the never-ending sands of time!

We return to light-hearted vistas
of acceptance…
and a sprinkling of joy in places we least expect…
