I welcome light into my darkness
and bask in its glow,
the moon never fails
to put on
a show.
Even in my living room
when the lights slowly fade,
I listen to the night birds
as they serenade,
and shadows move quietly
over hallowed grounds,
it’s in these sacred moments
that I am found..
