Joyfully made

I was a blank canvas
of love and fear
and God painted me tenderly
with his own tears

the moon rose in my sorrow
and I heard a great applause
and in a holy moment, I knew I was adored

by the colors of sunset
by the forests and the lakes
for they proclaimed me worthy
and joyfully made…
