“Try, as best you can, not to let
The wire brush of doubt
Scrape from your heart
All sense of yourself
And your hesitant light.”
― John O’Donohue, To Bless the Space Between Us: A Book of Blessings

They hung their heads
in surrender
in a world full of doubt,
never believing
that there
could be
an end to the drought!
they bowed down,
before a silent earth,
hoping for rebirth…
tears poured on soft grounds
they sang
salvation’s song,
and in the midst
of suffering,
they remembered that they
were strong!

Some days it feels as though there is no light at the end of the tunnel
and I bow in surrender, more than in worship.
I’m feeling faithless in a world that seems to be loosing hope!

I am an unknown introvert who desires to touch the world with a little bit of magic...

    1. Thank you, Sylvia. It’s been pretty rough lately. We have an Airbnb at our house and there has been hardly any movement because of the pandemic. We rely on overseas tourists. Thanks for caring, I know it will pass. xxxxx
