“They tried to bury us, they didn’t know we were seeds.”
– Mexican Proverb

We hide away
inside the lies,
we wear the masks
of this disguise.
our muted voices
blocked out,
muffled tones
conveying doubt.

Forgetting that love
is all we need,
we lose ourselves
in lifeless creeds,
restlessly waiting
to be born again,
we feel the grief
of this mayhem…

And all the while
the world turns,
nature bursts,
and light returns,
breaking the spell
of the untold lies,
we feel the movement
of earth’s cry…

awakening us
to kinder things,
to quietly regrow
our sovereign wings.

I am an unknown introvert who desires to touch the world with a little bit of magic...
