Day 6. Go to a book you love. Find a short line that strikes you.
Make that line the title of your poem. Write a poem inspired by the line.
Then, after you’ve finished, change the title completely.
“Why sometimes I’ve believed as many
as six impossible things before breakfast”…
I believe I can be insulted
and still forgive,
apple cider vinegar will make me thin!
I’m worthy of a doctorate
though I’m unqualified!
the Time lords can see me
through a butterfly’s eyes.
The Galactic federation
will save our earth,
flowers hold the memories of eternal mirth!
