My confessions…

“The willingness to show up changes us, It makes us a little braver each time.”
― Brené Brown, Daring Greatly

atomic bomb

There’s something about you that can bear
my confessions, while others only offer glib persuasions…
It’s an understanding that pain gathers
until it can no longer be held,
And I drop it like an atomic bomb…
it shatters the windows of my heart,
it blows the roof off
and I’m exposed,
but it also breaks me open into a new reality…
The reality that he’s woven into
the tattered fabric of my life,
like a light that can never go out…
and I will carry him with me as a bright aura for all my days…

So look at me and you will see his smile,
the memory of his laughter keeps my heart beating,
and his voice forever rings in the silence of my dreams…

I am an unknown introvert who desires to touch the world with a little bit of magic...
