A walk in the park?…

“This place is a dream. Only a sleeper considers it real. Then death comes like dawn, and you wake up laughing at what you thought was your grief.”
― Rumi

walk in the park

Dreamy like posture,
grief surely fades,
with all my essence,
into glory, I wade…
Singing acquiescence
the hurt that runs deep,
sunken amnesia
the solace of sleep…

My brave face before me, I cling to dreams,
surely nothing
is what it seems,
wearing my heartache
on my sleeve,
this is an opus to the bereaved…

Pressed against the future,
adrift in the dark,
wishing it could have been
a walk in the park…

A company of angels
awash with grace,
the light of the divine
cannot be erased…

Luminous messages,
beyond the skies,
revealing a promise that souls never die…

I am an unknown introvert who desires to touch the world with a little bit of magic...
