Guardians of Mourning

“When you are standing in that forest of sorrow, you cannot imagine that you could ever find your way to a better place. But if someone can assure you that they themselves have stood in that same place, and now have moved on, sometimes this will bring hope”
― Elizabeth GilbertEat, Pray, Love

forest walk 2

Standing alone in the bleakness
of my misery,
surrounded by tall evergreens,
guides of harmony.
I cried out in the density
of my deep despair,
“Is anybody out there, can anybody hear?”

Faint whispers from the undergrowth,
beams of light on my tears
“You’re not alone my darling…..I’m with you through the fear!”

“I’ve sent angels to comfort you,
just follow the signs,
with guardians of mourning,
your life will be redefined!”

I am an unknown introvert who desires to touch the world with a little bit of magic...

  1. Goosebumps! That was an encounter with the Lord and He is fulfilling one of His promises! Hope you are well despite your sorrow. I wish I could tell you the sorrow would end some day but it won’too! The distance between the ebbs and the tides may lenghten at times but like the sea they are never ending. Love you, N 🙂 ❤ xoxoxoxoxo

That is exactly what happens, the distance between the ebbs and flows lengthen but the sea cannot change it’s character.
With time, intention and God’s help I am learning to live with my son’s passing.
