Evanescent Visions

Day Nineteen….

“There is a gust of eternity in every fleeting moment.”

Evanescent visions,
and ephemeral beams
that touch the light.

A shooting star of a life once lived,
keepsakes and fragile souvenirs.

Transient images keep me breathing,
though they evaporate
back into ether.

Your name is inked on my memory
and your song
is forever in my heart.

Like vanishing dew at first light,
the echo of you,
remains on my skin.
