A sage
he came and said to me,
that many fathoms beneath the seas,
a movement
in the depths so great
shifts in bedrock
will create
intense feelings beyond stillness
conscious shifts
of secret witness.
When unknown vows were revealed,
obscure fears
became surreal.
A tsunami came and took the night,
the breath of life was hushed
in fright,
and seagulls from the shore had fled,
unforeseen illusions
soaked my bed.
In silence no creature moved,
lucidity had been confused.
Souls submerged beneath the waves,
murky graves.
Waters lapped on sands subdued
splintered reflections
of a pensive mood.
Rescued from a fate I knew
muffled songs
of renewal blew.
Messages that evolve
in dreams,
are the shuffling of
my soul’s
