When silent trees surround me,
and airborne leaves fall,
there’s a knowing in my spirit,
at the sound of the bird’s call.
The fragrance of the undergrowth,
and the coolness of the breeze,
gives me a kind of forgetfulness,
that puts my thoughts at eaze.
I long to dwell in the forest
where insects and frogs are at play,
becoming one with the butterflies,
dancing in light beams all day!
